Sharing the experience of the underwater world with friends and family is important to us at Coral Reef Scuba. We teach all of our classes through Scuba Schools International (SSI) and offer Open Water and Nitrox certifications.

Our classes consist of six online modules that need to be completed prior to reserving a spot in one of our regularly scheduled open water courses. Each class is two weeks in length and include multiple classroom meetings, pool sessions, and four open water dives. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a certification card that is good for life.

EANx (Nitrox) Course

The nitrox course is designed to teach students to use the nitrox breathing gas safely and effectively. Nitrox allows divers to extend their bottom time at recreational SCUBA depths and decreases nitrogen absorption in the bloodstream which can lead to less fatigue as well as other benefits. Students will be certified to use enriched air nitrox (EANx) blends containing up to 40% oxygen. Our courses are scheduled by demand, based on interest. For more information about our nitrox classes, contact the shop at (850) 385-1323.
